General uaEFI questions

Post by zazzn »

Hello Team,

TLDR
uaEFI
7 analog inputs
6 digital outputs (2 high current 4 low)
3 Hall + 2 VR or 4 Hall + 1 VR.

How do you set a second VSS in TS for traction control so that the ECU knows how much slip is occurring, I don't see an option to set another VSS under sensors.

I've searched the forums, and I'm looking through the WIki, but I can't find the answer. The website is confusing me a little.

Primary VR or Hall input (configurable with few resistor changes)
Third Hall (VSS) input
2 analog thermistor (temperature) inputs
3 analog (AUX) inputs
2 TPS inputs
6 high-Z injector outputs
2 high-current low side outputs for IAC/VVT/other solenoids (DC1,DC2)
Dedicated main relay control output
4 low-current low side outputs for relays or warning lights
6 logical-level ignition outputs
2 logic level outputs (5v/12v configurable, requires resistor changes)
Electronic throttle body (drive by wire)
CAN connectivity on the plug
USB connectivity on the plug
SPI and TTL available on PCB

Does this mean really
7 analog inputs
6 digital outputs (2 high current 4 low)
3 Hall + 2 VR or 4 Hall + 1 VR.

I'm just confused at the marketing speak and what it really means.

Finally, I'm guessing I'll have to use a CAN VSS or something for one of the VR sensors as the 2jz-gte (non VVTI) is a 12 crank and 1 cam and the second VSS is VR on the ABS front wheels while the transmission sensor is hall.

Meaning I need 3 VR sensors and 1 Hall.

At the moment wheel slip assumes that wheel speeds are coming in via CANbus.
