Similar to how MS uses a DB15 for running custom outputs, is it possible for a newer board to come with an automotive grade connector mounted to the board?
I'm having a conniption getting my connections to stay reliable when repinning ECU connectors.
The only issue I see is space, especially to fit a Denso 15 pin.

Re: External Outputs
The Frankenso uses an automotive connector. Not a DB garbage connector.

Did you have a chance to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lv02bCy0yQs ? Once you get into the rhythm you can remove and install pins into our favorite conector pretty easily.NBytevenom wrote:I'm having a conniption getting my connections to stay reliable when repinning ECU connectors.

I just used some more "oomph" and got the little orange door to come down in the connector.russian wrote:Did you have a chance to watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lv02bCy0yQs ? I might just make a specific video on depinning Miata ECU connectors.
