Is this only the GDI injector drivers? Or complete plug&play ECU for 4x GDI(like VW/audi TFSI engines)?

This is an external box that JUST controls the injectors/pump.

Chris says that Design Simulator Environment for PT2001 PSC - Standard
ASA-PT2001-STD
is the smart way to develop for this chip

In 2018 I've made a hole in TPIC
Nick made a hole in TLE8888 last year?

Chris follows this fine tradition with NXP

Rev C is one JLC fabrication defect I cannot sale those. Trying to get a refund via "Quality Complaint", hopefully I would not have to go credit card charge back route. https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi-hardware/issues/143

I now have rev D boards https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi-hardware/blob/main/GDI-4ch/gerber/rev.%20d/GDI-4ch.pdf

Intention was for the boards to operate as 4 injectors + 1 pump from factory, and to fit into the stamped case.

Boards now fit in the stamped case!

I do not see signs of pump control.

On bench I have firmware with default settings, power/GND and GDI injector hooked to simulate pump. When I ground control wire pin 41 "IN_PUMP" nothing happens :(

When I hook same injector as injector 1 and ground control wire pin 44 "injector 1" I have injector clicking as expected.

What can I do to move towards HPFP control?

^^^ microcode defect - it reads START6 line not START5 for pump control

New issue https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi-hardware/issues/209

I am able to reproduce with both rev A and rev D on the bench. GDI4 fails to initialize the chip as long as I have three injectors just connected to the board - one acting as fake HPFP and two others have to be on different banks.

on a bench during heavy duty cycle clocking boosted voltage falls down the cliff around 5300 RPM

At 5100 RPM boosted voltage does go down as well but much much slower. Some more data at https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi-hardware/issues/221

GDI4 units are used on the flow bench of a racing injector _manufacturer_.

Their biggest concern at the moment https://github.com/rusefi/libfirmware/issues/12
Less pressing issue https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi-hardware/issues/256
