Hi!
I am looking for alternative drivers for injectors, coils, GP and ADC.
Do you have any suggestions for IC's that are good, and works with rusEFI?
What about something like this?
Infeneon TLE6220GPAUMA2

Generally my concern about these specialty chips is the long the long term supply. The niche market tends to change and then chips like these become hard to obtain. As well these chips tend to have OEM performance. The injector drivers tend to have higher Rds characteristics which makes more heat and requires a larger heat sink. The more generic chips tend to have better characteristics.

Thanks!
Also, do you know any IC that are identical to this?

And could this be used?
too many chiefs, not enough Indians

This a relatively easy chip to learn KiCAD PCB design, would you be available to make a tiny prototype board for this chip?

Yes, I can do that.
Bosch units use this one, which seems to have less amps.

I finally found the right driver for the E-Throttle.
It is exactly the same as oem VAG, and a lot more.
Here it is:

There is some talk about the MC33810 at the below thread.
https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=576&p=15038&hilit=MC33810#p15038
Hmmm, I thought I had built a board for the MC33810 some years ago. I can't seem to find the KICAD files now. I think they went the way of bit rot.

I'm going to try this IC with my custom RufEFI fork for subaru EJ20... Someday...

EJ20 you say. As luck has it, I have one of those in the garage. It sits idle as it has massive electrical issues. The guy I bought it from really hacked the harness.

Figure 24 of TLE6240 datasheet is suggesting TLE8104E for 4 channels of injector control. TLE8104E is cheap and available

The ST L9960 is also a pretty good option, and has a package for dual drivers. Has SPI fault detection, fully protected, etc.

Re: the actual question, I’m a fan of one-chip-per channel. The area penalty isn’t too significant, and with a sensible package like d2pak, the exact part might not always be available, but SOME equivalent protected low side switch will always exist.
