@ are you trying to make by any chance? Do you draft to share?

Hi!

Yes, I have given it a try :-)

I have sent it to kb1gtt on mail, can send it to you as well.

About power-supply, why dont we use a proper Automotive IC?

I am currently drawing the schematic for a Bosch CY320

http://www.bosch-semiconductors.com/media/automotive_systems_ics/pdf_1/ic_engine_management/bosch_ic_cy320.pdf

Could this be something of interest maybe?

Infineon also have several others similar(Bosch IC's are Infineon).

I can concur, @ has drafted a TPS54340 breakout board in KICAD 5. It still needs some work, but it's mostly there.

@ you upset me a lot with your refusal to respect post subjects. Please make some effort to stay on-topic on this forum.

Other power supply chips are now discussed at https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1480

Mini board created and found here
https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/tree/master/hardware/Power_regulator_TPS54340

It's based on a BOM from @ which I drew up in KICAD 4.0.7. I have not really looked at it very closely. I think there is an issue with R5 and R6. That's 3.3V/(10.2+31.6) = 79mA. That seems like allot of current for a sense feedback circuit. Also there is a BOM, but I did not get around to populating the properties yet.

Any how, it's a draft for review.

R1 ,1,365k,Resistors_SMD:R_0805,, panasonic,ERA-6AEB3653V,mouser,667-ERA-6AEB3653V
R2 ,1,86k6,Resistors_SMD:R_0805,,panasonic,ERA-6AEB8662V,mouser,667-ERA-6AEB8662V
R3 ,1,162k,Resistors_SMD:R_0805,,panasonic,ERA-6AEB1623V,mouser,667-ERA-6AEB1623V
R4 ,1,11k5,Resistors_SMD:R_0805,,panasonic,ERA-6AEB1152V,mouser,667-ERA-6AEB1152V
R5 ,1,53k6,Resistors_SMD:R_0805,,panasonic,ERA-6AEB5362V,mouser,667-ERA-6AEB5362V
R6 ,1,10k2,Resistors_SMD:R_0805,,panasonic,ERA6AEB1022V,mouser,667-ERA-6AEB1022V
Do we really need 0.1% tolerance on all of these? 667-ERA-6AEB3653V 0.1% $0.63 vs 667-ERJ-6ENF3653V 1% $0.10
Same 6x times price difference for the other ones.

R1 and R2 would likely be OK with 5%
R3, I have no idea. It's some kind of PLL sync thing. I suspect it's ok at 5%, but I don't really know.
R4 I also have no real idea. I suspect 5% would be OK, but I don't really know.
R5 and R6 should be tight tolerances. Those determine the output voltage. The TPS54340 already has a 1% tolerance, if you add 1% in your resistor your output voltage is going to be worse than 1% accurate. Keep in mind that per page 23 of here http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/tps54340.pdf that design has an output voltage of 4% with 0.5% ripple. Adding % in the resistor will likely make that 4% more than 4%. I believe the 4% is 5.2V to 4.8V.
