Looks like this was never an official TE/AMP design but you can get it from China under "DJ7811-1-3.5-10" name. This is a shorter version of the 121 pin header.

At the moment I do not have any datasheets to know the aligning pins or latches location.

There are two problems with this connector:
1) The spacing between pin rows doesn't match the 121-pin connector... :?
2) There are two different kinds of 81-pin connectors:

And this one doesn't fit ME7.8.8 enclosure...

I believe that your picture has two different connectors, we can call those "short 81" (the one on the left) and "medium 81" (the one on the right)

Which one does not match 121 pins footprint?
Which one does or does not fit which case?

"81 long" would be the version which shares plastic body with 121 pins but only has 81 metal pins, I have a couple of these new received from China, those use "Asian" version of 121 pin key.

The "short 81" one does not match and does not fit the ME7.8.8 case. I'd like to find the right case for it...

But "medium" one does, I believe, it's closer to the 121-pin one... It's like someone has notched the central 40-pin part out, and glued the remaining parts together...

And plastic "pegs" for "short" and "medium" also doesn't match.

But still I believe it's possible to create a universal footprint for all these... ;)
