Nucleo144 wings

Post by AndreyB »

It's time for us to look at 144 pin versions of stm32 more closely, and with ETB and DI and other dreams we need a new prototyping approach.

The overall idea is to be able to stick a bunch of two-header breakout boards vertically into these 10x10 boards which with enough jumpers wires would let you route all needed signals to either nuckeo144 or your favorite harness connector.

PCB sources and gerbers are located at https://github.com/rusefi/hw_modular/tree/master/NUCLEO144_wing

This is my take on the 22mm Manhattan ideas see https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1459

Next step would be making a couple of boards in this format and figuring out how to place a combined multi-design order within this ridiculously cheap 10x10 two layer convention:

1) new format of https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=450
2) fixed & new format of https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1471
3) need to develop https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1521
4) maybe TLE8888 https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1496 but probably not

Fun fact - back in 2013 here is how rusEfi looked like, the approach here is intended to make this approach a bit more comfortable and reliable.
