MSD = USB mass storage (Mass Storage Device = MSD)

Looks like it's working though, so that's good!

I have somewhere between 3 and 10 of these microRusEFI assembled as "brain board" with pins sticking out. One day I will have the full inventory and list those on eBay

this specific one is 0.5.0 others could be different revisions

cause Winbond W25Q128JVS are out of stock..

S25FL127SAB is almost the same, but 108Mhz only ...

How can I test it .?

PanasonicVL-621/DN is perfect RTC battery for MRE..
can be soldered directly to PCB

Funny thing how we still do not use that on-board flash chip :)

In the meantime removal of the flash is the way to wire bluetooth on the older microRusEFI editions like https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=37479#p37479

on anything 0.5.0+ we have extra pins available and that hack is not needed.

Not really worth the effort, no. Our other ECUs now all have SD cards instead, and that works really really well. Some day MRE will get an SD card too.

OK ... it's just a question ...

SD Card works well...

"22 - AN temp 4" is an option for vehicle speed sensor on VSS

JRD did it require any hardware mods at all? Anything to remove or add? What exactly are the changes to use "22 - AN temp 4" as VSS?

It works well...

No modifications needed.
My VSS is Hall type 12V .. and works. (Grounding signal)
Signal wire is connected to 22- AN Temp4 directly without any pull-up/down resistor or divider.

EDIT:
...and 24 - AN Temp3 works too ...

VSS Tested and calibrated this friday ...
it works at 140kph with no issues ..
"no more space" to test it at 200
..or higher ...

6teeth and 0.54ratio (coef)

VLND5090TR can be replaced with BM2LC120FJ-C or BM2LC105FJ-C
..
but 3A current only ...
..it is still enough, I hope ..

and I'm not sure for IPD30N06S2L-23
Vishay SQD30N05-20L -- LOOKS BETTER ???

Is anyone driving on microRusEFI in US?

It looks like tle8888-2qk non-watchdog version of the main chip is no longer available and I am looking for a definitive test of a unit with tle8888-qk.

L9779-SPI is a candidate for TLE8888 replacement on MRE.
Some additional cool features (comparing to TLE8888):
3.3 V logic regulator
– 3.3 V precision voltage regulator (± 2%) with over-current protection
ISO9141 interface
–ISO9141 serial interface (K-Line)

Maybe something else.

Not sure why it should happen but that would definitely be a different board name. As is TLE8888 and L9779-SPI seem like more or less the same thing just from different vendors. I think as long as we can purchase TLE8888 we would stay with it?

Yes. I see no reason to switch to 9779 until we (you) can get 8888.
But with 9779 we can make fully ST-based ECU. :) May be ask ST if they want to support us?

I'm found something "bad" .. in schema ...
(and on pcb also)

We have powered TLE9201 via 12V_MREL line..
..and ... we have NO POWER for E-Throttle WHEN we hit the starter ... :!: :?:

Re: microRusEFI

Please provide much more context. My microRusEFI has working ETB so your problem has to be specific to some vehicle? Very limited telepathy abilities still, without vehicle name and portions of schematics I have no idea what problem you are reporting.

So ....

12VRelay is DOWN, when the starter is ON .. Right ....? (12V_MREL line)

If the answer is YES, the E-THROTTLE is OFF, and we have no power during start / cranking - for it

THEN
we can't flush cyls (if we need)
we can't add more air (via throttle pedal)
we can't driving idle ..etc ..?

I'm got focus on this when I'm can try to find 12V source for addon board....

TLE8888 will enable MainRelay output as soon as 12V_KEY (connector pin 5) is high.
Check that you are using correct IGN signal for this pin. One of IGNs can be disabled during cracking.

..is not problem, how fast is MainRelay ON ... after ACC / IGN signal

this condition is potential problem ... probably ..?? when TLE9201 is powered via 12V_MREL .. ??
12VRelay is DOWN, when the starter is ON .. Right ....? (12V_MREL line)
.. I'm assume:
12V_MREL ON - stopped engine
12V_MREL OFF - cranking
12V_MREL ON - run / idling

RIGHT .. ?

I have no problem on any (my) car at this moment ...
but maybe someone sometime ...
