Alternate st boards?

Post by Joey120373 »

I’m very new to the RUSefi stuff, so I am still trying to figure out a lot of things that seem second nature to the veterans here, board names, processor designations, a whole host of short hand names and abbreviations are all Making my head spin at times.

I have managed to get the code loaded onto a Nucleo board, it’s the big 144 STM32f767 beast.

I have a few other Nucleo boards laying around, an F401re and an f466re, I am wondering if either of these boards would work with RUSefi?

I realize they done have the pin count of the discovery board but the core should be similar? Mainly just curious, and it would be nice to actually use one of these boards for something. I bought them years ago to dip my feet into the Mbed environment, but that fell by the wayside when the teensy 3.x came out and gave me a more powerful and cheap alternative to the 8 bit Arduino stuff.

Thanks

human time is the most limited resource at rusefi. let's put those boards aside.
