Getting the order Right

Post by Krakert »

Hi everybody!

Me and my dad want to upgrade a Honda VFR750V from 1988 with some modern tech.
That's why we have chosen to go with a Micro RusEFI.

However, we don't want to wast too much money because we don't know if it will work out in the end.
So I wanted to order the PCB on JLC.
I cloned the repo hw_microRusEfi and used the files in, \gerbers\0.5.0

But when checking al the parts I got this:

And I'm not completely sure if this is all good. Especially with parts labelled R21..R81 and CN17..CN14.
Is there somebody that could help me out with getting this order right?

Thanks!

We've stopped selling MRE kits since supporting MRE kits was a drain of very limited community resources. I am puzzled by an attempt to order 0.5.0 instead of 0.5.3 with sturdier USB connector.

I wonder if the part you are missing is "mircoRusEfi kit comes 75% assembled - while many components are already mounted, about two dozens still need to be added. This includes both easy to mount components like main connector and harder to solder TLE8888 100-pin chip. Some soldering hints and tricks are discussed here. If in doubt of your SMD skills please consider fully assembled version."

I had read that part, and I do have the equipment to solder the parts. But I was concerned about the components in the list.
Because of these 0R and 10nF parts.

So I should go with 0.5.3? I couldn't figure out what build was best.

0.5.3 is the latest well tested revision.
Now keeping MRE in stock in the UK - https://www.FutureProofPerformance.com

0R would be a jumper. Zero ohm resistor

I don't know, the ignition outputs from TLE isn't use for now, so the 4 0R resistors mustn't be installed. (for now)
