HI,

i am interrested in this 121 me7 ecu. Having AUQ with big turbo and bigger injector for circuit racing. In this moment still on factory ecu.

Can this unit save log, and acces by bluetooth or wifi (for diag and/or realtime programming) ?

I have all diagnostic tools, dyno 4x4 so i can help you guys with some testing or debugging if needed.

it so happened that this specific Hellen board does not have SD card on board. We might add one day since all other Hellen board have it :)

No bluetooth or wifi but some TTL pins are probably exposed?

Bigger problem is the fact that this board does not have an excited product manager.

Every time I pass by that blue GranTurismo around the corner I am thinking about finding a wiring diagram SOMEWHERE. Also knowing where the ECU is located would be NICE.

Funny news: Porsche Carrera GT 5.7i V10 uses ME7.1.1 but we do not support it (yet?) since we do not know Porsche Carrera GT pinout :)

But 2 ECU's to control both banks, just like Audi does with their V10's?

Last hope for sweet hellen121vag publicity is parked next to a dumpster somewhere in Canada

I have ELSA. It's near completely useless for wiring. Good for locating junction points.

Maybe Maserati Granturismo?
OMG I found it, and absolutely not where I was expecting to find it.

It has mold outside and inside. Right above the ECU it has something that feels like dog poop but does not smell like dog poop. Oh, and it has water sitting on the ECU.

Does anyone have any Ferrari F136 engine wiring diagrams?
I do!

Looks like we are ready to run this Ferrari engine, let me poke Norman tomorrow.

Hello! I am looking at using the Hellen121 board for my project, but i need a second ETB output due to using it for a bypass valve.
I can't tell from the documentation i've seen if the board has 2 h-bridge drivers? If that was something i wanted to do, could i fork the
board and make one with 2 ETB?

With adequate resource you can even land on the Moon!

Please note that hellen121vag is being modernized as we speak https://github.com/rusefi/hellen121vag/issues/90

I hear you on the one-off stuff. It would be nice for the ecu to fit in the stock location, but it's not a requirement.

What will this update entail? Modernized doesn't mean much to me yet, i'm new to this project.

Going with two-side PCB assembly not just components on top to fit more stuff on the same PCB which would also mean possibility to fit second h-bridge for everyone

Is revision D ready to use or only B is tested (for a 4 cylinder engine)?

I noticed that in revision D you migrated to the new discrete-VR module, isn't it still under development?

let me hide rev D - it's totally unfinished and postponed. Discrete-VR is definitely used on many boards but it's complicated yes https://github.com/andreika-git/hellen-one/issues/301

Then i guess, revision C is the currently -latest and gratest-.

What do you suggest, should i go with revision C or revision B?

I'm putting my thoughts bellow if anyone wishes to comment.
The thing is that B uses the MAX9926/24 that is great for a VAG with a 60-2 crank wheel, as long as you add a resistor between VR+ and VR- inputs (or otherwise prepare something to externaly clip a 300Vpp signal at high RPM) and a smaller input capacitor than the 1nF stated in the reference circuit.
I like to use a 2.4kΩ 1W resistor that seems to work fine even at very high RPM without affecting cranking speeds.

Now, Revision C with the discrete circuit is a great design. I ,however, am scared of the TVS circuit dumping charge to 5V rail. a 60-2 trigger wheel Reluctor at high RPM becomes -more or less- an electric generator!
What will happen if we use an in-line large TVS (~something like a bidirectional 20V one) with a big-ass (=thermaly capable) resistor between VR+ and VR- in order to "consume/burn" the excess energy before it reaches the small protection TVS IC?

Thanks for the reply
