hello on my build i use 2 bosch iat and clt sensors
with usb shows exact temp.when power is applied temp drops
proteus iat and clt sensor drops temp when power apply
Re: proteus iat and clt sensor drops temp when power apply
I do have that same symptom on my Proteus as well, but readings are good when 12V is applied to the board
Re: proteus iat and clt sensor drops temp when power apply
Im running my own hardware, but mine does the same. I've just calibrated to the correct value when the car is running. I would say its a firmware thing and maybe to do with the voltage conversion for the battery sense on the 12v

Calibrate while the board is supplied with 12v. It doesn't know that the sensors don't have an accurate 5v pullup when the 12v ignition supply isn't active, so it reads wrong. When powered over USB, the 5v rail is really more like 4.6 volts due to the diode drop in the protection circuitry.
