Standby sleep CAN wake-up design

Post by AndreyB »

Honda https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi_documentation/raw/master/Hardware/Hellen/hellen125honda-d-schematic.pdf based on https://github.com/andreika-git/hellen-one/tree/master/modules/mega-mcu144 rev 0.5 gives us working wake-up by CAN with 0.020A standby mode consumption. Not great, not terrible. hellen125honda is just a test bed, that specific board does not require standby functionality.

At the moment we are not aware of low hanging fruits to reduce Honda standby current. tja1051 CAN transceiver in silent mode seems to only help by 0.0015A, it's unclear what role does output module has in the overall consumption. Any ideas/opinions would be welcomed!

Next step on would be a smaller board based on smaller https://github.com/andreika-git/hellen-one/tree/master/modules/mega-mcu64
