Hello,
i build a plane 120kg empty wight similar to USA PART103.
I have new engine V2 Briggs and Stratton with 810cc, air cooled.
For a plane is a carburator not reely good (freezing, ice building), i wish to change to an EFI.
Wich board is better?
1. NANO
2. uaEFI
I need very light wight sensors, wich sensors are better? have you exampel?
1. Hallsensor / Inductive, on 36/1 tooth wheel
2. MAP, air presure
3. MAT, air temperatur
4. CLT, cylinder head temperatur
5. O2 / Lambda (Bosch Lambdasonde 0258017025 LSU 4.9) can i connect direct the sensor to both boards? require an external controller?
6. TPS, position of the throttle plate
7. Knock sensor, what do you think, do i need one?
I wish to use dump ignition if the board can drive this:
1. NANO PIN 1D/20D
2. uaEFI dont have that? i read only Pin B16 Coil1

Hello Andrey, (привет тёзка),
OK, that with ignition i found:
by using uaEFI, i have to install ISL9V3040D3ST, and than can i use dumb ignition coils:

OK one answer is ready

About the knock sensor.
if i dont use the automatic (motored) throttle body, i dont need a knock sensor?
thanks

I'm not sure how these depends on each other. If your engine can knock (I think all can knock at some condition) you may want ECU to try to prevent this. By adding fuel, retarding ignition advance, etc.

About the MAP-Sensor:
i wish to use this sensor T-MAP: Bosch 281002976
That ist an combisensor for temperatur and presure.
Can i use them?

OK, i think, that the ecu can not open the throttle, then ist not nessesary.
OK, than i use the knock sensor, thanks

A knock sensor has little use in low compression NA engine and with altitude you will have even less chance of knock...
NANO doesn't have an integrated wideband controller uaEFI does have it
To drive a dumb coil with uaEFi you have to add an IGTB to the board

there are some sensors that are like a washer that goes under the sparkplug. Most of those are thermocuples and you need a special conditioner to read it.

Hi,
@molak, thanks for you answer
I have calculated the injektor cc:
40HP x 0.5 / 2 / 0.8 = 12,5LBS/h
I by now:
1. pomp with 3bar/110l/h. i can not find an smaler one, if sombody have smaler, i will be happy
2. 3bar gas regulator with integrated filter
3. Sensor lambda LSU 4.9
4. Sensor combi MAP + MAT
5. TPS
6. 2x injektor EV 14K with 180cc
7. uaEFI
wich sensor can i use for:
1. CHT?
2. EGT?

if i have the posibility, i would like use the folow EGT sensor:

very small and light, but how can i change the signal to 0-5V?
have you for me an example board?

i think, i found one:
AD8495 ARMZ Precision Thermal Coupling K-Type Thermocouple Module
grafik.png
what do you think about this part?
Product Description
The thermocouple signal is very small and must be amplified by considerable gain before it can be properly sampled by most ADCs. The AD8495 thermocouple provides a simple, solution for thermocouple temperature measurement. The integrated temperature sensor performs cold junction compensation. The fixed gain instrumentation amplifies the small voltage of the thermocouple to provide a 5 mV/°C output.
The has high common-mode rejection and is capable of rejecting common-mode noise that may be picked up by long leads of thermocouples. For extra protection, the 's high-impedance input allows for easy additional filtering.
The AD849x output is a voltage proportional to the thermocouple measurement junction temperature (TMJ). To derive the measured temperature from the AD849x output voltage, use the transfer function TMJ=(VOUT−VREF)/(5mV/°C), VOUT=(TMJ×5mV/°C)+VREF. The AD8495 and AD8497 (Type K) instrumentation s have a gain of 122.4. With a single 5V supply, the 5mV/°C output allows these devices to cover a thermocouple temperature range of nearly 1000 degrees.
Product Parameter
Reference pin provides offset adjustment
Thermocouple disconnection detection
wafer adjustment to 1°C initial accuracy and 0.025°C/°C ambient temperature suppression
Low power consumption: <1 mW (VS = 5 V)
Rugged input withstands 4kVESD and provides overvoltage protection (OVP) up to VS±25V
Linearity error less than ±2°C, this error is only caused by the nonlinearity of the thermocouple

i have look in the schematik to uaefi an have found:
on the pin J2.10(EGT+)/J2.20(EGT-) can i connect one EGT temperatur sensor
grafik.png
but for the CHT i do need one signalboard for 0-5V ?
