This really sucks! The software was actually quite good. Although I don't rely on it 100%, the software allows me to get better visuals on routing and shows me new paths that I may not have seen. It has definitely save me times. It is a sad day now that it is gone.
Anyone know a alternative?

Wow, that's a blow
I hope the community is large enough for someone to figure it out.
I know
@ have used TopoR with KiCad, it's commercial software but I believe the free version would work for us.

Although he states there that it won't run with the latest java runtime, I believe there is some sense in writing to him, asking him to provide you with sources, so that you could run it locally?
btw wtf is Zuken?

As people study the autorouter, perhaps they could figure a way to get it to place vias in a zone area. Basically, when you are trying to remove the FR4 glass and replace with more thermally conductive materials like copper and TIN plating, it would be handy to have something attempt to place a via and if it clears leave it, if it does not have the proper setbacks / clearances, then try again like .010 inch to the side.
