[help needed] cant connect to tunerstudio

hello folks. ive just got a uaefi pro and im trying to connect to tuner studio to test things out. i did the update from the quick start guide which only works with the rusefi auto updater but not the rusefi console. whenever i connect the board i hear the windows sound but cant find it in the comp ports. when i plug and unplug it nothing changes in the comp ports. the stm32 driver says up to date. idk what im doing wrong here. could use some help please.
