This is a harness extension/T-junction utility board. WIth this board, you can have two output wires for each input wire, and turn each individual output wire using either a jumper or a mini fuse.
BK-6013-ND mini blade fuse holder is used - same thing as http://www.aliexpress.com/item/SL-506Pmini-blade-auto-fuse-block-SL-506P-mini-blade-auto-fuse-holders-CQ-122-FCB/446002696.html
The board is 10x10cm

Re: breakout module
This board has also arrived
Minor issue - fuse holders are just a hair wider then the space allocated for them, I would need to file them a little to fit four of them next to each over. For now I will probably just use 4 hi-current channels per board instead of 8

Re: breakout module
Hi
We are going to use this breakout module for a v-8 engine, and since there is no mention of the size of the board or the number of the holes, wondering if this board can be used for our application. would it be possible to post these information?
thanks

Re: breakout module
I've added dimensions & schematics link to the first post. We still need to fix schematics for Kicad 4 and I am not sure how to print all PCB layers to one file.

Re: breakout module
Hi
I wondered if I could ask you some information about jumpers and fuse holders for the board, like what type they are or we can use, also I don't exactly know why we should/not use fuses?
thanks

Re: breakout module
To be honest I doubt you need this breakout module - it looks like it's an over-complication on our behalf. At the moment I am not convinced that the effort to solder all this together is worth the convenience to re-route things around. Realistically I find it much more convenient to have the OEM connector soldered to rusEfi board so that you can switch between stock ECU and rusEfi completely if you need to, and that's enough.K1PN wrote:I wondered if I could ask you some information about jumpers and fuse holders for the board, like what type they are or we can use, also I don't exactly know why we should/not use fuses?
Anyway, first post updated with a link to the datasheet for the fuse holder. Standard car parts small fuses and standard 0.1" jumpers.
The idea is that you can connect/disconnect each wire individually and for some high-current wires you want more then just a 0.1" jumper. These fuses are used as high-current switches.
