The first PSA 1.6 16v turbo with rusEfi #42

Post by Lyonz »

Great news for me.
I think it's the first
I did some testing yesterday, and the rusefi kit I made works.
I'm late because I have a drag race on June 10th.
1.6 16V Turbo (TU5JP4 Engine Peugeot / Citroen) + GTX3071r
We will do tests before the race, and 2.2Bars goal if we do not encounter any problem.
Frankenso, 0.5.3 version

More photos to come

Very nice very nice. Congrats on building it, you're in small elite group. This means we will now expect great things from you ;)

What is that little green board on the proto area?
Welcome to the friendlier side of internet crazy :)

Ahahahahahah. Thanks thanks
No problem, as I said, I'm available to test stuff without problem or to help.
I don't know if the rusefi has already been tested in a 1/4 mile dragrace.
In any case, I will do it myself in a few days.

The little green card is simply a VR conditioner
I bought 2 cards like that last year on ebay.
It's the same MAX9926 as the Frankenso. I just wanted to test with it.

Hi,
I upgraded the installation
I installed 1700cc injectors, but I realize that the maximum I can put is 1000cc

Software limit
Before I had 850cc, but at 2 bar of turbo pressure, I can already touch + 92% duty.
So I put 1700cc of injectors, but limited at 1000cc by the software

Good thing I have asked since it was not obvious :)
This is fixed now, thank you for the defect report! https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/commit/a0d1a5cefa0e98d3fe16e8df9969f315996e26f6
