In rusEFI console there is "sensor live data" tag with event counters. Do these counters go up?

Do you have continuity between MAX9926 output and stm32 inputs pins PA5 PC6?

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
iirc you need a jumper across those two pins to connect the max9926 to the MCU

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
In TunerStudio when I trying to change from MAP to MAF and assign pin PA0 to MAF the ecu reboots with a critical error.
Something to the effect of gp pwn needs to use PA0

https://rusefi.com/online/view.php?msq=41 shows gppwm1_pin NONE same 2 3 4, that's good.
Something is using PA0 already so you have a pin conflict. Please tell something not to use PA0
In your tune I see auxVoltage1:PA0 auxVoltage2:PA0 place change those to NONE

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
Thank you. I'm going to change that. However why is that the default? PA0 appears to be bound to MAP and those AUX pins out of the box.AndreyB wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 5:50 pmhttps://rusefi.com/online/view.php?msq=41 shows gppwm1_pin NONE same 2 3 4, that's good.

That being said it never threw an error until I re-assigned MAP to MAF.

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
Correction: auxVoltage1 and auxVoltage2 were not used and dead code, I will remove them a bit further now. Thank you for pointing me at this issue!
New theory: you are not providing enough details to help you effectively. No screenshot of exact error and potentially not recent tune on REO? Please confirm that you have un-assigned pin from MAP while assigning it to MAF.

First issue i cant find where to change pin assignment for auxvoltage1 and 2.
Second when I unassign MAP and try to assign MAF to PA0 I get the attached error.
TLDR: Unassigned PA0 from MAP and MAF, reboot ECU, try to assign PA0 to MAF, reboot, critical error.

auxvoltage1 and 2 you can simply ignore I believe those play no role. Those would be removed further in the next hour.

Thank you for the screenshot it's always better to have one!
I cannot explain this I see gppwm1_pin NONE on https://rusefi.com/online/view.php?msq=41
What does TS show for GP PWM pins?

GP PWM 4 was set to PA0
IDK how or why
On to the next issue whatever it may be.

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
Thinking more about the coil and igniter setup led me on a google quest.
I found a post from someone using Megasquirt and his experience with using the default ignition settings. The igniter did not survive.

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
Regarding control of the stock IAC in the SVX. It has 2 pins labeled OPEN and CLOSE and a third for ground. The OEM manual says to expect 6-7 volts on either power pin with key on.
It looks like I'm not the only one dealing with 2 solenoid valves. This fellow ran into some issues controlling a Bosch IAC
https://rusefi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1661&p=35414&hilit=iac#p35414
https://github.com/rusefi/rusefi/issues/1122
The issue is closed. But I can't tell from the dialogue if its been implemented in firmware or not.

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
Hooked up a spare SVX IAC.
Using Pin PC13 and PE6 for IAC. I'm getting 3.3v on either pin and verified continuity from my harness to the gate of the responsible FET.
Setup in TS to use the aforementioned pins. No errors from TS or console.
When I plug in the IAC voltage drops to a few mv and nothing from the IAC. Getting 9.5 ohm from each iac pin to the center tap and 18.5ohms from coil to coil.
Shouldnt I be getting 6-7 volts on either pin? Maybe not. Reading the schematic the low side pins all seem to be 5v output.
Perhaps I've run up against a design wall or did I screw something up?

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
Looking at the factory wiring diagram it seems I should be applying 12volts+ to the center pin and PWM ground signal to the coils.
How on earth am I going to accomplish that?

Re: Looking for a solution for the Subaru EG33
I connected center pin to +12 and drive open and close ends using PWM. I was able to rotate IAC from fully closed to fully opened by changing balance of duty cycles. This is what implemented now for two-wire IAC.
