Cranking Settings -> Advanced -> Flood clear

Post by tmbryhn »

Enable Flood clear: True or false.

On an ETB setup, is this based on the TPS or PPS input?
If TPS based, this could be problematic if the "Maximum ETB position (%)" or "ETB Pedal Target" relationship is defined/mapped such that the TPS would never reach >95% opening while in the cranking RPM zone.

Regardless of TPS or PPS based logic; would it make sense to instead have a setting that would let the user define which TPS threshold would activate flood clear, eg. fuel cut-off while RPM < "Cranking RPM limit" instead of having the fixed 95% threshold?

It checks against our synthetic "driver throttle intent" channel. In case of cable throttle it uses TPS, in case of electronic throttle it uses the pedal.

To be clear; is the threshold still 95% pedal input in ETB mode for activating flood clear?
