It looks like we might hit a bit of a hurdle with the EEC-V fords like the mustang and Jimmy's Taurus. The dashboards on the Fords from the mid 90s up until about 2004 use a PWM signal for the Rev counter and coolant temp.
I spoke to Dave B about this and he suggests it is a J1850 PWM bus and unlike anything else.
