Two stroke Efi (#14)
Hello.
This is my project. I´m converting a 50cc sachs engine to 100cc Efi.
Original engine is like that
my itb
fuel pump
my engine converted to liquid cooled
https://svn.code.sf.net/p/rusefi/code/trunk/firmware/config/engines/sachs.cpp

Thank you.
Re: Two stroke Efi
Nice. Looks like you are going liquid cooled as well. Do you know what pressure you get from that fuel pump? It looks much nicer than what I did for my small engine. Do you know what kind of current it draws? I'd bet it draws less than mine is drawing.

Hi, pressure i don´t know yeat. In normal utilization arround 300/400 ma. This is original from a Honda cbf125, i think cbr 125 uses similar pump but inside of the tank. Cbf 125 is outside of the tank.
Re: Two stroke Efi
Your probably going to need an external regulator, it doesn't look like that's got a regulator. They seem to sell such items here http://www.ecotrons.com/products/small_engine_fuel_injection_kit/

Neat project! I like my air cooled motorcycle (Moto Guzzi Breva) for simplicity.
Some day I may try converting my carb'd '90 Kawasaki Ninja to EFI just because, but for now the carbs are doing a good job.
What is the motivation behind the changes? Or "just because"?

Only for fun, and to do different. One old bike like a fresh bike.skeeters_keeper wrote:Neat project! I like my air cooled motorcycle (Moto Guzzi Breva) for simplicity.

Let´s start close the engine.
New handmade crank stroke 46 (original is 44)
New gearbox , on the left is the original , on the right is the new one (sachs 125),same as Penton, Dkw, Hercules etc
New cilinder, original vs new watercooled (44mm bore vs 54)
News soon

Re: Two stroke Efi
you engine was 67cc ?
now its 105cc
new cylinder looks much better, and the scavenging ports quite effective.
yes, quite unlike the cylinder GY6 1P40QMB
you'll make a new cylinder head?
Oxygen sensor to put you?

Re: Two stroke Efi
Do you have VR circuitry ready? You should be able to spit it by hand and see some LED flashing - if you have an LED
